INFUSION:

The Meaning.

Infuse. To permeate something - for the better. 

The Goal.

To infuse our lives with the lives of our neighbors in local

apartments in Lawrenceville, and to mirror Christ and

reflect His love in a way that brings true life. 

The Method.

The True meaning of Love (1 Cor. 13), games, skits, and crafts.

All ages are welcome. 

(Fifth graders and younger should be accompanied by an adult.) 

Time. 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Transportation will be provided from Grace

Unveiling

 

“I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may

know the hope to which he has called you…”  Ephesians 1:18a

 

We have a large and growing community of Muslims right here in our own backyard…and so we are presented with a choice.  Are they the enemy or the prize?  Here at Grace, we have answered that question through the development of Unveiling, a new framework for ministry with the purpose of mobilizing the body of Christ to reach the Muslim community on a local and international level. Unveiling will provide you with a community of believers with the same heart, training opportunities, and a wide variety of ministries ranging from apartment ministry to international short term trips to Islamic countries in the Mid East. 

 

Opportunities:

 

Clarkston After School Program

Program runs from 2:45 – 6:00 pm, Monday – Thursdays weekly. Drop in when your schedule allows, no previous experience is needed, and children welcome.

Directions to Willow Branch Apartments (after school program in Clarkston)

 

1. Take 78 from Snellville toward Atlanta (you will pass the Stone Mountain Park exit).

2. Get off at exit 3, the Brockett/Cooledge exit.

3. At the end of the exit ramp, take a left.

4. When you dead end onto East Ponce de Leon, take a right.

5. When you get to North Indian Creek, take a left.

6. You will pass the Atlanta School for the Deaf on your right; start slowing down and   

     looking for a small “Willow Branch” sign on your right.

7. Turn right into Willow Branch Apartments.

8. You will come to the leasing office-the after school program is located inside of the

     leasing office.  Use the right side door (you will see a picnic table beside it.)

 

Tea Time

On the second Thursday of each month [from 1 to 2:30 pm], the ladies in Clarkston will be sharing international foods, fun English games, tea, and fellowship with each other. If you would like to connect and minister in this unique setting – contact Mary Abraham for more details.

The Language Institute

This is an excellent relationship building opportunity for those seeking to better their English.

Next SNACK (at the Language Institute on Ga. Tech’s campus) is TBA.

Midtown Community Church

 

Vision:

Grace Fellowship Church is embarking on a ministry in the heart of Atlanta. 

We are partnering with Midtown Community Church in efforts

to reach the diverse group of college students, internationals,

and young families that call Midtown home. 

 

Service Times:

Currently, there is an evening service meeting at 6:45 pm that is similar

to the morning services at Grace yet with a feeling all its own. 

And yes, Starbucks coffee is provided after the service!

 

Directions:

Take 85 South toward Atlanta-go through Spaghetti Junction,

 Take the 10th, 14th, 17th Street exit (on the RIGHT),

Almost immediately, the exit ramp forks; go to the LEFT (10th, 14th),

At the first light, take a RIGHT on 14th Street,

At the next light, State Street, take a LEFT,

Go down a little hill and the church will be on your LEFT.

 

Oasis group:

 A framework of fellow believers involved in Muslim ministry meets after the service

on the third Sunday night of every month. Next meeting is TBA.

Gwinnett Outreach

  

Run the Reagan - Saturday, February 17th

Half marathon, 10k, 5k, 1 mile fun run.

Go to www.runthereagan.com for details. There is also a Family Festival with acres

of inflatable rides for kids of all ages, free food samples from some of the best local

restaurants, and much more.

It will open at 8:00 am and will run full force until 1:00 pm. Come and enjoy.

 

Spring Yard Sale

help kids raise money to go to YL Camp. We never want a kid to miss a chance to hear the gospel because they can't afford it. Either donate yard sale items or even cash to give these kids a chance. Details coming soon.
